My thought process as an architect helps me understand the buildings I photograph. My images showcase the play of light and shadow. I enjoy photographing in as much natural light as possible, to portray spaces as warm and lived-in, rather than un-used and glossy. My compositions aim to capture a building's immediate surroundings, as well as the people using the space, to add a geographical and social context to the architecture. I sometimes employ unusual angles to convey the design and also incorporate interesting foregrounds and the backgrounds.
